The Miami Heat were stunned last night by the Golden State Warriors last night as they fell 97-95.  But the night could have been so much worse.  Dwyane Wade suffered a scary neck and head injury in the second quarter.  He left for the locker room, but he was able to return in third quarter.Wade was fighting through a screen an hit in the face.  As he doubled over from that, Mario Chalmers came across the court trailing his man and hit Wade in the side of his head.  Wade went down and stayed down for quite some time. While the injury looked scary, Wade appears to be alright.  He finished the game with 14 points in 29 minutes.  He also had five assists and four rebounds. The loss to the Warriors drops the Heat to 14-6.  It was just Miami's second home loss of the season.  However, the team has to be happy they still have Wade to go to.  Unless his neck tightens up, Wade should not miss any time as a result of the injury. LeBron: Barkley 'needs to shut up'

LeBron James came to the defense of Dwyane Wade, ripping Charles Barkley for critical comments the analyst made about his teammate.

LeBron James Tries Defending Old Man Wade, Makes Matters Worse

Dwyane Wade is old, well, he’s 30 but he’s playing old. His athleticism has declined and he’s lost a step. It’s nothing to be ashamed of but it explains his mood swings on the court and his transition from legit game to playing dirty like an old man at the Y. And it started a couple of seasons ago, became apparent during the playoffs last year and is flat out obvious this...

LeBron James Tells Charles Barkley To Shut Up About Wade

credit: Over the past year or so, many have begun to wonder whether Dwyane Wade’s game is falling off as he gets older. For a player whose game is so based on his athletic ability, it’s a legitimate concern for someone who is now 30 years old. Charles Barkley is one of the people who believe Wade is already on the downswing, as he has been vocal recently about...

LeBron James: Shut up Barkley

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is determined to show everyone including TNT analyst Charles Barkley, who often says Wade's game is falling off rapidly, that he is still one of the best. Wade claims he doesn't hear the criticism from Barkley. "I'm not the all-time leading scorer around here for nothing," said Wade via FOX Sports Florida after going 11 of 13...

Did this ref intentionally keep the ball inbounds for the Heat with his foot?

Looks like he lent the Heat a helping hand…I mean foot. Miami and Atlanta met up Monday night in a matchup between the Southeast Division’s top two teams.  The Heat walked away with the 101-92 LeBron James’ game high 27 points, Dwyane Wade’s 26 points, and some fancy footwork by referee Karl Lane. With the Heat down by one late in the second quarter, James rebounded a Hawks...

LeBron To Charles Barkley: Shut Up

Last Thursday night during the Heat/Knicks clash on TNT, Charles Barkley had harsh criticism for Dwyane Wade.  As his statistics began to decline, Barkley called out Wade on national TV and said after seeing him play live this season that he believes the All-Star has slowed down and is “starting to lose his athletic ability”. Since that game, Wade has had back-to-back great...

LeBron to Chuck: “Shut up!”

We all know that NBA players have thin skin and LeBron James proved it with his comment after the Miami Heat beat the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. When asked about his teammate Dwyane Wade’s 11-of-13 shooting performance after the game, James replied that Wade’s performance meant that TNT analyst Charles Barkley should “shut up.”CLICK HERE TO READ MORE »

LeBron: Charles Barkley needs to shut up

LeBron James has always been one to defer to his teammates – often times to a fault.  But after Monday’s game in which the Heat beat the Atlanta Hawks, James came to the defense of teammate Dwyane Wade. TNT analyst Charles Barkley had criticized Wade on before last Thursday’s Knicks-Heat game, saying that Wade is no longer the same player and doesn’t “explode anymore.”...

Warriors-Heat Preview

While the Golden State Warriors have pulled out wins on the first four stops of their longest road trip of the season, they could have their hands full with a visit to Miami up next. Having experienced very little road success in this series, the Warriors continue a seven-game trek Wednesday night against a Heat team that's proved especially dominant on its own court. Golden...
