Beer Mug Sports:
Mike Bibby is old enough D Wade, you don't have to toss his shoe into the crowd to slow him down more! Game two has been much more competitive that game one was thus far, I expect the Knicks to give all they have tonight in order to save face.
BEST OF MAXIM
Cue Austin Powers. The Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade didn’t take kindly to Mike Bibby losing his shoe on his home court in their Game 2 playoff game, so he tossed it aside. Bibby wasn’t impressed by Wade trying to slow him down. Unfortunately, for Bibby, he has been slowed down for about 5 or 6 [...]
We often see NBA players losing shoes during a play, sometimes going without one until a timeout is called, but how often do we see an opponent throwing the other’s shoe into the first row?? Watch what transpired between a Knicks and Heat player during Monday’s game. Seems there was no love lost between former [...]
Most NBA players will do just about anything to gain an advantage in the heat of battle, and the Heat’s Dwyane Wade is no exception. When Wade comes across Knicks guard Mike Bibby’s wayward shoe early in the second quarter of Game 2 of the Heat/Knicks playoff series, he does the only thing appropriate for the situation—he tossed said shoe into the stands.
Well, the first...
MIAMI -- There's a funny ESPN commercial from a few years back in which Miami guard Dwyane Wade keeps a SportsCenter host waiting while he puts together his perfect highlight.
With that in mind, it seemed to make sense to ask Wade if he has any clout about what highlights are shown about the Heat.
"I don't have no clout," Wade said.
Oh, well. If Wade did, he...
During the first quarter of the Heat/Knicks game two matchup on Monday night, Mike Bibby loses his shoe and Dwyane Wade throws it off the court and towards the Knicks bench.
Maybe Wade was just trying to remove and object from play, but it seemed like a tactical way to keep Bibby from joining the Knicks current offensive possession.
That ain’t even right, man!
DWade in Tom Ford for game 2 of Knicks vs. Heat playoff series. The Heat are up 2-0. The game was never really in New York’s grasp. Example, DWade even tossed Mike Bibby’s shoe off the court when it slipped off. I appreciate that DWade’s tie, pocket square and flinger wrap are all coordinated. It’s [...]
We've seen Lakers star Metta World Peace throw Trevor Ariza's shoe into the stands but we'd didn't expect to see that sort of chicanery from Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade.In the second quarter of last night's game, Knicks guard Mike Bibby lost his shoe on a rebound attempt and Wade tosses it casually into the stands:iframe>
MIAMI - Miami guard Dwyane Wade got the news during the middle of his game Saturday afternoon, and he was shaken.
Bulls guard Derrick Rose, like Wade a native of Chicago, had been seriously hurt earlier in the day against Philadelphia. He later was ruled out for the rest of the playoffs due to a torn ACL in his left knee.
Its very unfortunate, Wade said after his teams 100-67 win...
MIAMI (AP) -- Dwyane Wade scored 25 points, Chris Bosh added 21 and the Miami Heat beat New York 104-94 on Monday night, sending the Knicks to an NBA-record-tying 12th straight postseason loss.
LeBron James finished with 19 points, nine assists and seven rebounds for the Heat, who lead the Eastern Conference first-round series 2-0.
Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points on 12-for-26...
When LeBron James left Cleveland for Miami in the summer of 2010, the idea wasnt to win a title or two.
At least, not if you listened to James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, who told the world on their own stage that the goal was to win six or seven championships. And they sounded like they believed it would be that easy.
Now, this isnt to trash James for his Decision Show or desire...
Oh right.. this:
Pierce and James Jones were tagged with double technical fouls after a hard foul by Jones that Pierce took umbrage to with 7:59 remaining. Pierce got in Jones' face as referees separated them.
Less than a minute later, Pierce and Dwyane Wade earned a double technical for a dust-up when Wade ran hard into a Pierce screen trying...
10) Iman Shumpert's injury means that Dwyane Wade will have to roast some other Knick for the next three games9) Rajon Rondo's ref bump to non-suspension is about to give us the best example yet of how the Association favors the Celtics8) Dallas continues to believe that if Dirk Nowitzki isn't the best player in basketball, the refs should make him so7) Derrick Rose&...
With the likes of LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Amar'e Stoudemire all looking to reignite a blazing hot Knicks-Heat playoffs rivalry, one would think the series would come down to each respective team's offensive firepower. But in game one of the first round matchup, that assumption wouldn't have been more wrong. The contest came down to nothing but defense...
MIAMI -- No blowout this time by the Miami Heat, just Big Three efficiency. With Dwyane Wade scoring 25 points, Chris Bosh 21 and LeBron James 19, the Heat were able to overcome 30 points from Carmelo Anthony in a 104-94 victory over the New York Knicks Monday night at AmericanAirlines Arena. The victory gave the Heat a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series that continues with...
