Former Louisville star Earl Clark was one of the more improved players in the NBA last season. After riding the bench and having a minimal role with three different teams in three years, Clark was finally given an opportunity for an increased role with the LA Lakers midway through the 2012-13 season. He more than made the most of it. Clark scored more total points in 2012-13 than he did in his entire first three seasons combined.
It took longer than we had hoped, but Clark is now a valuable asset in the NBA and multiple teams are interested in his services. He is currently a free agent and as soon as the season ended Clark maintained that he wanted to stay with the Lakers if possible. However, he’s likely to get a better contract with a different team.
