Underrated:
When you think of the New York Knicks, who comes to mind? Is it Carmelo Anthony? Tyson Chandler? How about J.R. Smith?
Smith has been arguably the most important and most valuable player for the Knicks this season. His improvement, growth, and maturity have been key for the Knicks success.
There is no way the Knicks would be where they are now without him.
Explosive, exciting, the spark off the bench, and the list goes on and on. There are so many ways to describe Smith; it’s hard to put it into words.
This season, Smith is having a breakout, outstanding year, averaging 16.7 points per game, 3 assists per game, and 5.1 rebounds per game.
This season, Smith has really matured and understands his role with the team. He knows that he should do whatever is best for the team, even if that means he should come off the bench.
