It's Always Sunny in Detroit:
Dwight Howard obviously didn’t get the memo that much of America is sick of him. The drama of him staying in Orlando, then wanting to leave Orlando then only signing an extension with the Nets, then stating in Orlando, then leaving Orlando, then wanting to stay in Orlando again then being happy with a trade to the Lakers. It was joyous.
He’s now trying to capitalize on his move to Hollywood by working on his stand-up comedy. The only problem – he isn’t funny, nor cute, nor not 100% obnoxious.
Howard recently attended a Time Warner Cable SportsNet launch party and talked about how cool earthquakes are. Then he flirtatiously called new teammate Kobe Bryant old.
“Jokes man, jokes.” Of course, you might remember that Howard was knocked off the toilet by an earthquake in September.

FROM DC TO MARVEL
New Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard has decided to change his superhero nickname from Superman to the moniker of another costumed crusader.
Although he was cleared Tuesday for full-court five-on-five scrimmages with limited minutes, center Dwight Howard won't play in the Lakers' second exhibition game, Wednesday against the Portland Trail Blazers in Ontario.
The Lakers haven't provided a firm timetable on when he will play. But Howard has maintained throughout the last week in training camp that he won&...
TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE
Kobe Bryant, admitting that it proved effective for both himself and Shaq, suggested that new teammate Dwight Howard "just needs to bring it out."
Dwight Howard likes to have a fun. He posted this photo of himself in Laker purple with the caption, Kid DYNOMITE! Lots if happening on the Dwight front, he’s been cleared for limited contact in 5-on-5 practice and he’s also claiming that Kobe has been his secret guru for the last few years. Ok Dwight… [...]
The Lakers began their march into the ’12- ’13 NBA season one Sunday with their first preseason game in Fresno, Ca. against the Golden State Warriors. Dwight Howard was in attendance but didn’t touch the hardwood. He sat down for an interview during the second quarter and one of the interesting items to come out [...]
Dwight Howard has not been given the green light yet from the Lakers.
Word is, he also wants to change his name from “Superman”, to “Iron Man”. Above is Dwight at last night’s preseason game, which the Lakers lost.
I know Shaq is all for it but Iron Man is kinda wack. How bout “Poser Boy”?
I kid, sorta. All I want is for Dwight to play with hunger this season. It’s about damn time already.
Orlando Magic’s T-Pain Big Baby Davis has been working his tail off to replace the production of Dwight Howard. T-Pain Davis recorded a little hip-hop rap jam aptly named Big Baby Gon‘ Turn It Up. It’s really a great terrible song and has no business being listened to more than once zero times. But, I digress…
Think T Pain’s voice changer + an average yet severely...
Tweet Just as news was released that Los Angeles Lakers reserve forward Jordan Hill would be sidelined with a herniated disc, the team announced Tuesday that All-Star center Dwight Howard has been cleared to play full-court five on five, Mark Medina of the L.A. Times: Lakers say Dwight Howard has been cleared for full court [...]
Kobe Bryant has a complete a-hole persona on the floor. He bosses his teammates around, takes control of games when he feels he needs to, and he calls out teammates on a regular basis. It’s all part of that “killer instinct” so many says he has. Bryant believes Howard has a lot of great tools, but he wants the young center to be more of an a-hole like him. “Shaq was a goofball...
If youre the Brooklyn Nets, it could be worse. A lot worse.
No, you didnt land Dwight Howard -- and Howard made it pretty clear he wanted to play for your team. That couldve been a real downer.
But rather than sit around and sulk, the Nets did the next best thing: They moved from New Jersey to Brooklyn.
OK, thats a joke.
What really mattered was how the Nets approached the offseason...
Deron Williams grew impatient waiting for the Nets to acquire Dwight Howard.
