PLAYERS: David Stern
Sacramento and its sole major league sports team, the Kings, have agreed on the pieces of a $387 million arena financing puzzle that would keep the franchise in town another 30 years. The railyard development northeast of downtown Sacramento will be the location for the new arena if an agreement reached Monday is finalized. Under the deal, the city would pay more than half the cost of a new arena and own the facility. Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson Kings co-owner Gavin Maloof NBA Commissioner David Stern
