Elton Brand Playing With Fracture in His Hand

  Elton Brand has been a huge part of the rebirth of the 76ers franchise. A veteran leader whose been part of the heart and soul of this ever growing basketball team. Brand leads the team in PPG, RPG, and BPG. What we didn’t know was Brand has been playing for nearly a month with a fracture in his left hand. For a while now it’s been reported that Brand had some sort of injury to his hands, that they were “sore.” However, only the Sixers knew he had a fracture, not releasing the information, fearing opposing teams would target Brand’s hand. Brand has been often criticized since he arrived in Philadelphia. He was seen as a savior of sorts, only to be a part of underachieving teams, until now. Anyone who has questioned Brand’s heart or ability have been proven wrong on both fronts this season.
