Evan Turner said on media day that he was prepared for a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers if that was the direction the organization wanted to go. "[I] was ready, just hoping it was warm," Turner said, smiling. Turner had his best NBA season last year, but the 76ers have undergone a major rebuild from the 2012-13 campaign. Turner was the second overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft.

WATCH: Evan Turner swears on livestream

Philadelphia 76ers guard, Evan Turner, sat down for a quick interview at NBA Media Day. Evan Turner Thought He’d Be Traded During Off-Season

When 76ers new GM Sam Hinkie started his wheeling and dealing during the NBA draft, many assumed it would be Evan Turner who got his walking papers. Sixers' Richardson slowly making strides in rehab

There were so many new faces in the gym at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for Friday’s Sixers’ media day that it was a good thing the players had their names on the backs of their uniforms.
