One lucky fan won $75,000 by making a hook shot from halfcourt during the Miami Heat game on Friday night, but it was LeBron James who seemed most excited about the incredible shot. Michael Drysch, a 50-year-old computer technician, made a halfcourt shot between the third and fourth quarters in Miami to win the big prize. LeBron was so stoked about seeing Drysch win the money, he broke away from his team’s huddle to jump on the fan with a huge hug. If you’re wondering why James was so enthusiastic, it might be because his foundation put up the money and flew the fan down from Illinois to attempt the shot, according to ESPN’s Michael Wallace. Drysch won a drawing that gave him the opportunity to make the trip and shot. Drysch had been practicing the shot for two days but only made it once. Good thing he saved the second make for the time that counted. And how about LeBron’s reaction? Have you ever seen someone so happy about losing $75,000?
