The Bobcats added two more losses to their dossier over the weekend, one a near miss and the other a far miss. Even the relatively close loss to the Pacers on Saturday would need to have an asterisk the size of Bismack Biyombo making a snow angel, because Indiana was without their best player, Paul [...]

The Observer consulted with two long-time scouts (neither connected to the Charlotte Bobcats) as conference seasons commence in the college game. Each works for a team likely to have a top-10 pick.
While the two conversations were separate, each conveyed the same conclusion: This isn’t the year a franchise-changer will emerge from the draft process…“I don’t think this is...
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: the Charlotte Bobcats will aim to end a losing streak tonight. Blah, blah, blah, right? Yes, the Bobcats have another quality losing streak on their hands again, this time being of the three-game variety. And luck them, they get to try to prevent it from advancing to [...]

7:13: The Celtics will face the 9-27 Bobcats tonight at the TD Garden. The Bobcats are third-to-last in the conference and don't have a very bright future. Every good player they get they either trade away or that player loses his edge. They've been like this since Larry Brown left. But they're still an NBA team who can compete, so play hard and put them away early. There...
