No need for intros. You want advice, I have it. Let's skip the formalities this week, shall we?

More after the jump:

Studs & Duds
STUDS
Paul George – It seems like we have all been sucking PG off since day one of this season. He has been a beast, but this past week he turned into a golden god. George will have slight ups and downs and I doubt he will be able to maintain this ridiculous pace, but he is a legit five category contributor.

Rudy Gay – I thought Gay would be the steal of the draft based on his ADP but he hasn’t been able to hit his stride until recently. I would like to see him pick up his FG% and block totals, but he finally found that smooth stroke from the charity stripe.

Landry Fields – Landry was a ******* anomaly last season. He was absurdly efficient until Melo came into town, but he is finally getting his confidence back. My boy is picking up his defense, dishing out assists at a higher pace, and is once again helping out your shooting percentage.

Anthony Morrow – How many times do I have to say it – HE HAS THE BEST THREE POINT SHOOTING PERCENTAGE IN NBA HISTORY! Morrow has been my official glue guy for years and he is still improving as we speak. Unfortunately, he is also pretty injury prone. This past week he scored a season high 28, then sat out, then put up 42. He is once again nursing injuries on the bench, but is an absolute stud when healthy.

Andrew Bynum – The Lake Show is on the decline but they still have Kobe Bryant and a very solid big man duo in Pau Gasol and Bynum. It looks like they are finally giving the big men more usage and Bynum has been very legit. Yes he may get hurt, but he looks fine right now and I know his owners are loving it.

Honorable MentionsTim Duncan, Steve Nash, Marcus Camby

DUDS
Rajon Rondo – The kid has returned but looks a bit rusty. Yes he put up fourteen assists in his second game back from a wrist injury, but that is one category and he has more than twice as many turnovers as steals. He is also shooting poorly from the field and the line. I’m sure he will be fine, so you just have to be patient.

Antawn Jamison – Looks like his left hand is healthy again but ‘Twan’s shot looks like ****. He is still playing solid D, but he takes so many shots and free throws it might not be worth it. I’d wait for him to put a couple solid games together and then try to sell high.

DeMar Derozan – He started and ended the week hot, but was pretty garbage in the middle. Derozan is a freakish talent, but he isn’t particularly helpful in fantasy. He is a scorer who often struggles mightily but offers minimal three pointers or defense. I’ll put him in the Jamison category and advise that you sell high.

Quick Hitters
-Chauncey Billups could be done for the season with a ruptured achilles tendon. That gives Mo Williams a slight boost in value and makes Randy Foye relevant again. Tough break for Mr. Big Shot.

-Derrick Rose is now dealing with a lower back issue. Uh oh. I still think he will be able to brush off this injury and the turf toe to dominate once again, but it is still scary news. While D-Rose is out, CJ Watson is a legit fill-in at PG.

-Noooo Gallo! Looks like Danilo Gallinari is going to be out for at least a month with a severely sprained ankle. Al Harrington gets a slight boost in value and more minutes may be coming to Rudy Fernandez and Arron Afflalo (when he gets healthy). I once heard that Gallo bangs trannies, so perhaps there is some correlation (note: this might not be true).

-Sorry but more bad news for Denver Thugget fans. Nene Hilario's heel is ******. It is that simple. He will struggle with it the whole season unless he takes an extended period of time off. Hope for the best.

-Greivis Vasquez and Jeremy Lin are the truth! Jarret Jack returned to practice so Vasquez’s value will drop, although I expect to see him average at least 25 minutes still. On the other hand, Linsanity is a ******* stud and he should continue to pimp since Baron Davis is old as **** and suffered another setback.

-Looks like Tiago Splitter is the go-to backup big man in San Antonio nowadays and DeJuan Blair is droppable in most leagues. I love spot starts for Tiago in back-to-back games as Tim Duncan will get extra rest.

Good luck this week and feel free to ask for advice in the comments or email me at sonsofroto1@yahoo.com.
