On Thanksgiving Day, Jordan Farmar will mark his third month in Tel Aviv playing for the European powerhouse, Maccabi Tel Aviv. With the point-guard came another Jewish-American basketball player to Maccabi, Jon Scheyer. While Farmar looks like the big player everyone in Israel thought he would be, Scheyer struggles to make his mark in the Nokia Arena. Last Thursday Maccabi played in Turkey against Anadolu Efes who presents Sasha Vujacic from the Lakers. Farmar, a former teammate of Vujacic, scored 18 points, and delivered six assists in Maccabi’s win. The point guard continued his good performance last week against Real Madrid, which gave him the player of the week award.
