I’m assuming Shaq was motivated by the time change and the fact that “Spring” is just a week away. Why else would he come on “Inside the NBA” wearing his Easter suit? That’s a lot of white for TV. He has that nuclear glow going on. Ever the social media maven, Shaq told his Twitter followers to Tweet him their thoughts on his suit. You can imagine how that went. Shaq was called an eclipse, a black Angel and a piece of cake. Check out a few:     And in case you missed it, this week’s episode of Shaqtin’ A Fool, which featured Dwight Howard, Russell Westbrook and a ball boy.   photo via CJZero

Dwight Howard Tells Pathetic ‘Yo Mama’ Joke To Magic Fan

Dwight Howard made his highly-anticipated return to Orlando Tuesday night and, as expected, the big man wasn’t shown a lot of love by the bitter Magic fans. During the closing minutes of the third quarter, a Magic fan yelled something at Howard and he responded with an incredibly lame “Yo mama” joke. While the Orlando crowd may have brought the hate on D12, the big man did...

Lakers not worried about Howard’s free throw struggles

Something about the Los Angeles Lakers brings out the worst free throw shooters. It started with Hack-a-Shaq and now it’s become Hack-a-Dwight. Hack-a-Dwight is when a player may be intentionally fouled the moment he gains possession of the ball, but he may also be fouled when he is off-the-ball. However, the NBA has a rule discouraging the defense from intentionally fouling a...

Mike D’Antoni on hack-a-Dwight Howard: ‘I hate it for the fans’

Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard is one of the worst free throws shooters in the NBA. He is shooting less than 50% from the line this season, and opponents have begun preying on his weakness. During Tuesday night’s win over the Orlando Magic, Howard went to the free throw line an NBA record-tying 39 times. He converted 25 of those attempts, which is better than expected...

Dwight Howard Says He Needs Kobe to Keep Pushing Him to Be an Icon

Another day, another round of Dwight quotes. “I do appreciate what [Bryant's] doing,” said Howard to host Kevin Frazier. “We’ve talked all year. We’ve had conversations on the bus rides and the planes just about how to become that icon that I want to be.” Howard said Bryant has helped him become a better player. “He’s just pushing me,” said Howard. “I need...

Dwight Howard Still Has Plenty of Growing Up To Do

Prior to Tuesday night's game between Dwight Howard's new team, the Los Angeles Lakers, and his old one, the Orlando Magic, the big man said a lot of the right things. He apologized for his recent bashing of the team and talked a lot about growing up. Now call me crazy, but I took his comments to mean that he has done a lot of growing up; not that he needs to do a lot...

Dwight Howard tells Orlando Magic fan “your mama liked me last night”

I think Dwight Howard embraced his role as villian in his return to Orlando. Fans were heckling and jeering Howard the entire night. One fan managed to get Dwight’s attention and Dwight asked if the fan’s mother hated him too and then followed it up with “your mamma liked me last night.”   The last NBA player I recall embracing the dark side was LeBron James in his move...

Dwight Howard To Magic Fan: ‘Your Mama Hate Me Too? She Liked Me Last Night’

Dwight Howard had plenty of hecklers last night in his return to Orlando, one lucky Magic fan who was spewing “I hate you” was lucky enough to single out Howard’s attention. Howard asked the fan if his “mama” hated him too. And then quickly quipped back that she liked him last night.

Dwight Howard, Lakers Back in Playoff Picture But Not Out of Danger Yet

The Lakers are back in the playoffs, if the playoffs were to start immediately. Kobe Bryant took control of a dysfunctional situation and refused to let his team miss out on the postseason, and all the drama in Los Angeles is effectively over with. Only, it is not. Maybe it should not be completely shocking that all the overreaction regarding the Lakers at their lowest point has...

Preview: Lakers vs. Hawks

A lot of anxiety fell into Dwight Howard prior to the game in Orlando last night. His first visit in the city that he gives credit to for raising him as the player he is today since his rookie year in 2004. But it turned out that Howard managed his emotions real well and led the Lakers (34-31) to their 4th-straight win to reclaim the 8th seed in the west from Utah. The Lakers...

Orlando Magic fans express their feelings for Dwight “Coward” (Photos)

With the Lakers in Florida facing off against Dwight Howard’s former squad, Orlando Magic,  some fans decided to voice their opinions….differently. One fan in particular expressed his utter hatred for [...]

Anonymous Hacks Bank Of America, Orlando Hacks Dwight Howard

I wonder what the public opinion really is on Anonymous, the computer hacking collective… I like them, they expose top-level greed – a mix between Russell Crowe in Robin Hood and in The Insider.  OK so he wasn’t a hacker in The Insider, but did the same type thing Anonymous does.  Anonymous hacked Bank of America last month and found they were using worthless Social Media...

Carmelo Anthony Says Return to Denver Will Not Be Emotional, Expects to Play Despite Knee Injury

When Dwight Howard took the court in Orlando for the first time as a Magic opponent on Tuesday night, he admitted that he would always have a soft spot in his heart for his former fans in Florida. Carmelo Anthony does not sound quite as nostalgic as he prepares to make his first visit to Denver as a member of the Knicks. When Anthony returns to the Mile High City to face his old...
