Found April 17, 2013 on Brooklyn Balling:
Detroit has a real good player in center Greg Monroe. Too bad he won't be able to be in the playoffs for awhile with how bad the Pistons are right now   When: 8:00 PM; Wednesday, April 17th, 2013 Where: Barclays Center; Brooklyn, NY TV: YES Network 82 regular season games in Brooklyn done, and hopefully infinite more in the future. Tonight's basically meaningless game vs the Pistons at the Barclays Center represents the final pre-playoffs game for the Nets (and final season game overall for Detroit), a time that could only dream of a postseason appearance a few years ago, while still middling along in New Jersey. The 48-minute game itself might not mean much, but it just shows the culmination of the hard work of the team, coaching staff, front office, fans, arena workers, and countless others who busted their proverbial gut to make the Nets' maiden Brooklyn season such an outstanding success. Props to all, and thank you, thank you fo...

Pistons fire head coach Lawrence Frank

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Lawrence Frank has been fired by the Detroit Pistons after he became the latest coach unable to revive the struggling franchise's fortunes. Report: Lawrence Frank Tells Pistons to Give him Extension or Fire him

They’ll probably chose to fire him but I admire Lawrence Frank’s moxie. Regardless, Frank is trying to negotiate a guaranteed 4th-year according to a report from Yahoo! Sports: Within the organization...

Jay-Z took to his website, Life and Times, to pen a letter on the Nets as he sold his remaining shares in the team. The transcript is as follows. Brandon Knight has always been successful. Whether he has been on the basketball court, or in the classroom, Knight has excelled to get where he is today. Even though his stay in the NBA has been short, he’s already emerging as one of the game’s best young point...

Andre Blatche has been a very productive bench player for the Brooklyn Nets this season, which if you’re familiar with the 6-foot-11 forward’s past, is somewhat surprising.
