Basketball is back! While people prepared to watch Miami and Boston on TNT, The Cleveland Cavaliers and Washington Wizards took center-stage. The result was Cleveland defeating Washington in a 94-84 final, and I must say both teams looked decent. Cleveland was active on the boards, and when they needed him most, Kyrie Irving stepped up. Washington on the other hand, looked very poor on the offensive end without John Wall, but the passing from the Wizards was very crisp. Once Washington gets healthy, I envision this to be a decent rivalry. For now, here's six key things I noticed in the Wizards-Cavs game.
Washington's Roster Is Terrible
Without John Wall and Nene, this Wizards team is something terrible. Outside of Emeka Okafor (10 points, 7 rebounds, 4-10 shooting last night), this team is full of young players and misfits. Wall's replacement, A.J. Price, went 2-13 from the field, and Trevor Ariza went 3-8. Jordan Crawford, who was expected to take a large chunk...

Tweet Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving is a rising star in the NBA, as is Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star forward Kevin Love. The two got together for the second installment of Pepsi Max’s online series that casts Irving as “Uncle Drew”, an old-school baller with insane game. The video also features NBA legend Bill Russell: [...]
Kyrie Irving's first "Uncle Drew" commercial with Pepsi last year was a huge hit. Cavaliers fans and NBA fans across the country seem to love "Uncle Drew". The super sophomore now a 2nd edition of the hit commercial with Pepsi just as the NBA season tips off.

Now we’re back with part two and it features more secret players in disguise as they take to the courts and hustle guys in pick up games. Check out the continuation as Uncle [...]

You can watch this again, it's okay. I know you want to. Truth is, Kyrie Irving may act as well as he plays basketball. That's what I thought this morning as I watched Uncle Drew's second installment for the fifth time. John Wall, Nene and Kevin Seraphin are supposed to return sometime soon, and it was just one game, but here are eight reasons the 2012-13 Wizards are already such a sad, sad group:
1. The starting lineup: A.J. Price, Bradley Beal, Trevor Ariza, Trevor Booker and Emeka Okafor. Woof.
2. The bench lineup: Jannero Pargo, Jordan Crawford, Martell Webster, Chris Singleton and Jan Vesely...
The Wizards battled back from a double digit second half deficit but came up short, losing to the Cavaliers in Cleveland 94-84. Playing without John Wall and Nene, Washington actually led in the fourth quarter before running out of gas.
Jordan Crawford led the Wizards with eleven points, with Emeka Okafor added ten points, seven rebounds and blocked four shots. Washington shot...
Are the Lakers in trouble?
No, the Lakers are not in trouble.
They will make the playoffs but their playoff success is in question
with the fact, they have not won a single game in 11 tries. Even great teams who are trying to get comfortable
with each other will win an ugly game or two.
Mike Brown is the one in trouble in this situation. He appears...
