Beyond The Buzzer:
Kevin Garnett and Gerald Wallace both received a technical in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s Christmas Day game after a minor scuffle. Wallace grabbed onto Garnett’s shorts following a shot attempt, something Garnett didn’t respond well to:

Kevin Garnett broke out this Christmas-themed colorway of his Anta “KG3″. Ticket wore the green, red & gold kicks in today’s 93-76 win over the Brooklyn Nets. I’ll have a full report/gallery of all of today’s Christmas Celtkicks tomorrow on Red’s Army. Hope you all had a great holiday.

ALL HE CAN STANDS
With the Brooklyn Nets struggling as of late, Gerald Wallace has taken issue with how his teammates are responding to the slide and made his feelings known.
In the Celtics early start on Christmas Day, CSN viewers were surrounded with holiday spirit, including anecdotal stories of KG buying Scal a Louis Vuitton suitcase, and Keyon Dooling dishing out holiday cheer like it he was playing point guard again. Then things became reminiscent of the last meeting between Brooklyn and Boston when Gerald Wallace and Kevin Garnett got a little...
In the 4th quarter of today's Boston Celtics-Brooklyn Nets game, Kevin Garnett and Gerald Wallace along with Courtney Lee and Andray Blatche both received double technical fouls when Wallace grabbed Garnett's shorts, resulting in a small altercation (video of the incident can be viewed here).
In the video above, the Comcast Sports Net New England commentators as well as...
Gerald Wallace‘s gift for Kevin Garnett this Christmas came in the form of a fistful of shorts — a present KG wasn’t too thrilled to receive.
Wallace and Garnett had a rather heated exchange during the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s matinee clash between the Nets and Celtics. Garnett tried to hold Wallace up after the Brooklyn forward was fouled in the paint, but instead of...
There has to be a rule somewhere about how long you can hold onto a man’s shorts. Gerald Wallace grabbed a handful of Kevin Garnett’s in Brooklyn Nets/Boston Celtics Christmas Day match-up. Garnett took exception when Wallace wouldn’t let go after regaining his balance. It was the kinda move that can start a brawl, which [...]
When the Nets dramatically overhauled their roster this summer, the plan wasn’t to put together a .500 team. But that’s exactly what they are after last night’s 108-93 loss to the Bucks dropped them to 14-14 this season.
“We’re a way better team than what our record is,” Gerald Wallace said. “I’m [bleeping ticked] off about us losing, and especially the way we’re...
Well, it's taken a long time but we have finally reached Christmas Eve 2012. It's been a crazy holiday season, one that the Celtics shouldn't be proud of. Since the beginning of the holiday season(approximately Nov.22/Thanksgiving), Boston has gone just 7-7. Combine with a 6-6 pre-Thanksgiving record and we are stuck with a .500 basketball team. I expected more, but remember...
Brooklyn Nets forward Gerald Wallace and Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett received double technical fouls after getting into a scuffle in the fourth quarter of the Celtics' 93-76 victory Tuesday afternoon.
Wallace grabbed an offensive rebound and went up for the putback while trailing by 17 points. He was fouled and got tangled up with Garnett. He appeared to grab Garnett...
#NBABallot Kevin Garnett Paul Pierce Rajon Rondo Jason Terry and Jeff Green
— Jared Sullinger (@Jared_Sully0) December 26, 2012
I'd say most people probably have Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett on their ballots, but I'm not sure the other three have came up in reports of being high in the voting. Honestly, Paul Pierce deserves to be up there. Either way, this is an awesome...
In the spirit of the holiday season, today’s NESN Daily poll goes a little off from the world of strictly sports.
Being that it’s Christmas Eve and Santa Claus is preparing to make his yearly journey to deliver toys to boys and girls, we thought it’d be appropriate to ponder on which Boston-area athlete might make the best imitator. You’re not soon to see any of these four...
The Nets had much higher hopes for their inaugural season in Brooklyn. With a current record of 14-14 and locker room mumblings from Deron Williams saying that he was used to being coached a different way. Plus Gerald Wallace calling his teammates out about their attitude during the losing streak. The Nets have announced the [...]
Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo (2nd, Eastern Conference backcourt) and forward/center Kevin Garnett (3rd, frontcourt) maintained their positions in the second returns of balloting for the 2013 NBA All-Start game. Both are on pace to start the 62nd annual game in February in Houston.
Frontcourt: LeBron James (Mia) 970,314; Carmelo Anthony...
There may not be too much Christmas spirit on display in the first of five NBA games on this holiday.
There were three ejections the last time the Brooklyn Nets faced the Boston Celtics, and they meet again Tuesday at the Barclays Center.
Boston (13-13) enters on a five-game road skid and has lost both matchups with Brooklyn (14-12) this season.
The Nets won 95-83 in Boston on...
Blazers GM Neil Olshey said he has made zero calls to other teams about Aldridge. He did say he has fielded one inquiry from another team, but it was more exploratory in nature, that team feeling the Blazers out. And he said he has no plans to make any future calls about Aldridge as February approaches.
That doesn’t mean Olshey doesn’t expect to get more calls. He senses the...
