A few weeks ago, I personally wrote that Jarrett Jack, of the Golden State Warriors, is firmly in second place for the Sixth Man of the Year Award and that no one could reach Jamal Crawford this year. However, for once, I am admitting that I was wrong and that Jarrett Jack should be this year’s top backup. He brings much more to the table and other than scoring, Jack has far superior number across the board and is more important to his team’s success than Crawford Jarrett Jack: 30 mpg, 13.3 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 5.5 apg (1st in NBA among backups), 45.2% shooting, 40.6% three point shooting, Jamal Crawford: 30mpg, 16.7 ppg (2nd in NBA among backups), 1.6 rpg, 2.5 apg, 43.9% shooting, 37.4% three point shooting * Note: They are nearly identical in free throw shooting percentages, steals, blocks and turnovers. When it comes to stats, yes Crawford is averaging 3.6 points per game more than Jack, but scoring is not everything. Jack has nearly double the rebounds of Crawford despite being 2 inche...
