Golden State Warriors Make Roster Move Before Raptors Game

On Sunday evening, the Golden State Warriors  will host the Toronto Raptors at the Chase Center in San Francisco.  

Before the game, the Warriors announced that they had made a roster move. 

Via Warriors PR: "The Golden State Warriors have recalled forward Gui Santos from the team's G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today."

Santos was the 55th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and is in his rookie season with the Warriors. 

So far, he has appeared in four games and has averages of 3.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 57.1% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range. 

Santos has spent a lot of time with Santa Cruz and most recently played in Saturday's game against the Cleveland Charge. 

In ten minutes of playing time, Santos had two points and four rebounds. 

As for the Warriors, they are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 17-18 record in their first 35 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Detroit Pistons by a score of 113-109. 

Steph Curry led the way with 26 points, six rebounds and four assists. 

Following the Raptors, the Warriors will host Brandon Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

As for the Raptors, they are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 14-21 record in their first 35 games.  

Following the Warriors, they will visit the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
