I have a question. When, exactly, did the Lakers' Derek Fisher lose his fastball? I mean, it happens to every athlete. But Fisher's performance in the first round of the playoffs against Utah and in the first two games of the Western Conference semifinals has been shocking because of its ineffectiveness. Against Utah, Fisher couldn't hit an outside shot and couldn't come close to slowing Deron Williams. Remember Williams' winning shot in Game 4? He almost put Fisher on the floor with a cross-over dribble that he used to clear himself for the 12-foot jumper. Then, in the fourth quarter of Game 5, backup point guard Ronnie Price embarrassed Fisher, whose only response was a hard, cheap, unnecessary foul with 5.9 seconds left in a 13-point game. It should have been called flagrant but wasn't by Steve Javie & Co. Instead, Price was given a technical after his dunk attempt when he turned and said something to Fisher.
