NBA.com Former Louisville big man Gorgui Dieng is fitting in nicely with his new team in the NBA. Not only if Gorgui proving his worth as a first round pick on the basketball court, he is also becoming  popular with his teammates and coaches. According to Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribine, during rookie karaoke night at training camp in Mankato last week, Dieng stood on a chair and sang Happy Birthday to head athletic trainer Gregg Farnam in English, French and his native Wolof. Lorenzo Brown, a fellow rookie and teammate of Dieng’s in Minnesota is already comparing him at Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon. He’s a beast,” Brown tells the Star Tribune. “A lot of people don’t know what kind of moves he has. He’s kind of like Olajuwon down there because he can move either way. Everybody knows he can block shots. I haven’t been down there yet so he hasn’t caught me yet, and he can definitely do that. Kevin Martin eager to get back up to speed despite Achilles

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota's recent rash of injuries aren't the only impetus to exercise extreme caution with Kevin Martin. Minnesota is a young, up-and-coming team in the Western Conference. With players such as Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, Nikola Pekovic, and Derek Williams, the Wolves could be challenging the best in the West (and in the NBA) with a talented roster. Except they aren't impressing head coach Rick Adelman this preseason. Minnesota is 2-2 in preseason play and recently lost to Toronto...
