Celtics came up with a big win tonight, 92-79 over the Philadelphia
76ers. The teams have played 3 times in the first 20 games, and Boston
is definitely starting to get under the 76ers fans' skin. After giving
up a huge early lead, Philly fans quickly begin hating on the Celtics
and ripping the referees. They grew particularly frustrated with KG. If
I've learned one thing though, these guys really love Evan Turner.
i think i would like to see Turner punch Rondo
Heinsohn, I see no one has stabbed you in the throat yet.
paul pierce should've been a Sixer. thank you larry brown
Player of the Game:
Evan has subscribed to the Paul Pierce method of screaming like a little b!tch on contact to grab the ref's attention.
Turner, hybrid between Jordan and Magic Johnson.
there is a legit chance that Evan Turner gets in a fight with someone from Boston tonight
Turner's a f'n animal!

Jeff Green drives against a defender
Ever since Jeff Green signed a new contract with the Celtics over the summer, he has taken us on a whirlwind ride. With incredible highs and lows, no player has made Celtics fans tear their hair out more than him. Green has had an up and down season thus far, and while it is still young, he seems to have found his groove lately.
One of the...
It's time for the best Tweets from Tommy Heinsohn during the rematch with the Sixers and Tommy was on his game tonight! As Jeff Green was called for traveling, Tommy was counting his steps and Mike wasn't too thrilled with his counting skills.
Green called for traveling. Counting steps: "One-two! One-two!" Mike: "I don't want you counting my change...
Celtics have the day off today, but Molly still gives us her Celtics Minute. She discusses Jeff Green's recent improvements on the offensive end of the floor.

The Boston Celtics came out firing on all cylinders tonight and never looked back. C’s beat the Sixers 92-79 at TD Garden. The Celtics were definitely all business tonight after losing a real tough one in Philly on Friday. Boston’s smothering defense held Philly to just 28 first-half points. It was the usual suspects as KG (19), Truth (13) and Bass (10) all scored in double-figures...
Jeff Green’s suddenly Mr. Consistent Offense; Kevin Garnett had zero rebounds but still managed to be awesome by shooting 9-11 for 19 points in just 23 minutes (the last stat = the most awesome); Jared Sullinger had nine rebounds in 22 minutes; Rajon Rondo continues to fill up the stat sheet; and Boston’s defense has been revived from the dead ever since Rondo wrassled with Kris...

The Boston Celtics had it going on against the Sixers on Saturday night.
Boston shot 53 percent from the field and held Philadelphia to just 39 percent shooting on the Celtics way to a 92-79 victory. Kevin Garnett led all Celtics scorers with 19 points, while Jeff Green chipped in 16 more off the bench. The Sixers could not come up with an answer to the Celtics’ overall team effort...
A lot of complaining about the refs but they let a lot go on both sides. They called it pretty much even. I loved the comment wondering if the Celtics had Go Go Gadget arms. They did seem to be hustling to all the loose balls. Now if only the Celtics can find their consistency and do this on a regular basis. Enjoy today's comments. I've highlighted my favorites...
Kevin Garnett doesn’t always need to grab rebounds for the Celtics to win. They beat the Sixers 92-79 even though their center didn’t snatch a single rebound. It was the first time since 1997 that happened. Paul Pierce contributed with nine assists and Jeff Green had 16 points off the bench. In a world where the 76ers play the Celtics 82 times a year, Evan Turner is the NBA MVP. Continuing his tradition of playing way better against Boston than he does against other teams, ET put up 26/10/5 to lead Philadelphia to a 95-94 victory in overtime. It did take him 26 shots to reach 26 points, and he went just 2-11 in the fourth quarter and overtime… but he made up for...
Evan Turner had 26 points and 10 rebounds and Thaddeus Young added 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 95-94 overtime win over the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
Turner drove past Courtney Lee and tossed up an off-balance, right-handed shot for a 95-94 lead with 3.9 seconds left. Boston guard Rajon Rondo slipped and his ankles buckled on the last possession...
PHILADELPHIA -- Rajon Rondo picked up another triple-double, but the Philadelphia 76ers picked up the win. Evan Turner, despite missing nine of his previous 10 shots, swished a 13-foot jumper with 3.9 seconds left in overtime to lift the Sixers past the Boston Celtics, 95-94, Friday night at the Wells Fargo Center. "I was just trying to get to my sweet spot on the court...
The Boston Celtics came up short against the Philadelphia 76ers last night 95-94 after Evan Turner sealed the deal with a 10-foot jumper with three seconds left in overtime.
This time around Doc Rivers’ team is home. Boston needs a lot to go right to get a victory against Doug Collins and company.

Thaddeus Young scored 20 points and Spencer Hawes had 15 for the Sixers.
Greg Monroe missed a tip with less than a minute left that came back to haunt Detroit. Holiday sank a 19-footer for a 100-95 lead and the...
