LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Blake Griffin scored 11 of his 23 points in the third quarter, Jamal Crawford got 12 of his 18 points in the fourth and DeAndre Jordan added 16 rebounds and 11 points, leading the Los Angeles Clippers to a 96-94 preseason victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.
Chris Paul had six points and nine assists in his second game back after undergoing surgery on his right thumb in August. Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro rested all of his starters throughout the fourth quarter and didn't play Grant Hill and Lamar Odom at all in the team's first game back from an eight-day, two-game trip to China.
Former Clippers guard Randy Foye had 17 points for the Jazz, coming off back-to-back wins over the Lakers by a combined margin of 47 points.

First of all, why is Ronny Turiaf even in a game? Even if it’s only preseason. Second of all, why is Ronny Turiaf even shooting the ball? And third of all, why is Ronny Turiaf even jumping with Jeremy Evans?
If anyone can answer those three questions, please let us know.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Chauncey Billups practiced with the team Tuesday, a step forward in his recovery from left Achilles tendon surgery performed in February. Billups missed the final 44 games of last season with the foot injury. He is aiming for a return to action in November or December. "I think one of the things in getting over injuries like that is the mental...
Lamar Odom's knees are bothering him, but he also is dealing with weight and conditioning issues.
During Wednesday night's Jazz-Clippers preseason game at Staples Center, Jazz forward Jeremy Evans made a spectacular block, and immediately dribbled down to the other end of the floor to throw down an awesome posterizing dunk (no surprise since Evans won the Slam Dunk Contest last season). And each the block and dunk came on the Clippers' Ronny Turiaf, so... quite an embarrassing...
Chauncey Billups may be able to return in late November due to how good he has looked in practice.
The regular season hasn’t even started yet but Lob City is in full effect. In a recent preseason game against the Utah Jazz, the Los Angeles Clipper duo of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul once again put on a show.
On the fast break Paul threw a perfect alley oop pass to Griffin who threw it down with authority. Check it out on the video below.

There are moments in the National Basketball Association where players can get the worst thing happen to them on both ends of the court.During last night's Jazz/Clippers game, Clippers reserve forward Ronny Turiaf had a jump shot swatted by Utah's Jeremy Evans. After collecting the block, Evans dribbled down the court and slammed down a poster dunk on the other end.The victim...
In a preseason matchup between the Jazz and the Clippers, there was one of the best dunks of the young NBA season, and no, it wasn’t from Blake Griffin. Jeremy Evans absolutely embarrassed veteran big man Ronny Turiaf by rejecting his shot, scooping up the ball, and hammering it down on Turiaf at the other end.Maybe Evans wanted to prove to Clipper Management that he would be a...
And Ronny Turiaf gets posterized in the process, busted up on twice in one play.
