MILWAUKEE -- With three of their first four games this season on the road, the Memphis Grizzlies knew starting strong would be a difficult task. But after their 108-90 victory Wednesday at Milwaukee, that stretch is behind them and the Grizzlies have settled into the NBA grind with a 3-1 record. "(Being) 4-0 would be better but it's better than 1-3," said center Marc Gasol. "Historically, we've had some slow starts but this year, we've come out a lot stronger." Gasol was one of five Grizzlies to finish with double-digit scoring, pouring in 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting to go along with nine rebounds and five assists. Zach Randolph had 18 points and 13 rebounds for his fourth double-double in as many games this season while Rudy Gay had 17 and Mike Conley 13. Marreese Speights came off the bench and scored 18 to round out a balanced offensive attack that shot 53 percent from the field. "We just played really well," Memphis Coach Lionel H...

New owner brings youthful buzz to the Grizzlies

Mike Conley says the Grizzlies' new owner doesn't look much older than he is. The Memphis guard is right. Robert J. Pera, the Grizzlies' new chairman and majority owner, is only nine years older than his point guard. The 34-year-old California businessman is a fresh face from a much different generation than the Grizzlies' previous owner - 75-year-old billionaire...

The All-Overpaid Team (Joe Johnson, Anyone?)

PG: Beno Udrih- Over 19.8 million dollars - This is Udrih’s last year on his contract, but he is not even worth half of the 7 million that the Bucks owe him. He has always been a decent point guard, but solid shooting and decent scoring and passing does not make him worth that much money. SG: Joe Johnson- 19.8 million dollars - Johnson is and has been a very good player throughout...

Day 7: Rock the Vote

Line of the Night: It’s a little known fact that the Gasol brothers compete against each other in nearly every aspect of their lives, including who can look like the more convincing homeless person. But in terms of fantasy basketball, only Marc Gasol (2.32 WARP) can say he’s had the best fantasy line of the night this season. Gasol nearly triple-doubled against the Jazz with...
