The Memphis Grizzlies mascot, Grizz, put on a superhero outfit and used a wrestling "powerbomb" to slam a Washington Wizards fan through a table during a timeout in Tuesday night's game at the FedEx Forum. We're about 99.999% sure that the man wearing the Gilbert Arenas jersey was a willing participant in the Super Grizz skit. Memphis Grizzlies mascot powerbombs Wizards fan through a table (Video)

During Tuesday night’s Grizzlies-Wizards game, a fan in the front row wearing a Gilbert Arenas jersey – which immediately signaled that something was about to go down – began antagonizing the Memphis crowd. This prompted Grizzlies mascot, Super Grizz to make his way over to the fan, back him into a strategically placed table on the court, and then powerbomb said fan through...

Grizzlies' Marc Gasol Will Have MRI During All-Star Break

The Memphis Grizzlies lost Marc Gasol for an indefinite amount of time yesterday after being helped off the court last night. He suffered a knee injury after banging knees with Orlando Magic guard Jameer Nelson.Gasol already missed two months of this season with a torn MCL and another injury of that severity would be severe blow to this Memphis squad. Sitting at ninth in the Western...

WATCH: Grizzlies mascot slams Wizards fan through table

“De’Von get the table” has always been one of my favorite wrestling lines. On Tuesday night it was Super Grizz, mascot of the Memphis Grizzlies who powerbomed a Washington Wizards fan though a table. I don’t know what’s worse. Wearing an old Gilbert Arenas jersey or going though the table. I guess it all works though.

Memphis Grizzlies Mascot Super Grizz Slams Wizards Fan Through a Table

During intermissions it is up to the mascot to keep the fans entertained, and during Tuesday night's contest between the Grizzlies and Wizards Super Grizz was more than happy to do just that. What better way to do it than to take a Wizards 'fan' and slam him through a table WWE style? Loading...

Take The Rest Of The Week Off: Grizzlies Beat Magic 86-81

Marc Gasol left the game after aggravating his left knee. MRI forthcoming, but he’ll have six days to rest up. Take the rest of the week off, guys. Okay, so Mike Conley SHOULD have at least been invited to be an NBA All-Star this weekend in New Orleans. But I guessing that he, his coach and his teammates much prefer he get healed up for the march toward the playoffs. And Marc Gasol...

Grizzlies overcome Beal's big night, beat Wizards

Nick Calathes and Marc Gasol scored 18 points each, and the Memphis Grizzlies survived a career-best 37 points from Washington's Bradley Beal to defeat the Wizards 92-89 on Tuesday night. Beal was unable to convert down the stretch, though, including missing a 21-footer with 12.9 seconds left that would have tied the game. Zach Randolph split two free throws with 11.5 seconds...

Grizzlies defeat Wizards despite Bradley Beal’s career night

Memphis, Tenn. — Bradley Beal said he was “having fun” on his career night, but the Memphis Grizzlies got the last laugh as they defeated the Wizards 92-89 in Memphis. While the night belonged to Beal, who scored a career-high 37 points, he also learned a valuable lesson about being clutch. Beal went 15-24 in […]

Marc Gasol reaggravated knee injury in Grizzlies win over Magic

We're used to this now, right? The Grizzlies waded through the muck of an ugly 3rd quarter to eventually win in a ping-pong lead changing game against the Orlando Magic. Nick Calathes played really well (4 steals & 2 blocks). Tayshaun Prince was surprisingly very efficient. Courtney Lee continued his strong play. Zach Randolph took over when needed and secured the victory...

Memphis Grizzlies Grab Magic’s Good Mojo

All great things come to an eventual end, as the Orlando Magic lost 86-81 Wednesday night to the visiting Memphis Grizzlies. To be honest, both teams looked eager to enter the All-Star Break as swiftly as possible. Memphis wore down their hosts with their much maligned halfcourt sets and slowed-down pace. Memphis won despite only shooting 2-of-12 from 3-point range thanks to their...

I’ve expressed to different media outlets that I would have an interest in listening to what they have to say,” Hollins said to SiriusXM NBA Radio, via MLive.com. “They have an intriguing team with some of the young big guys...

Jiri Vesely Knocks Out Seed Marinko Matosevic to Highlight Day 1 of Memphis Tournament

Marinko Matosevic By Brad Hunter (February 10, 2014) MEMPHIS – I have not been to the Memphis tournament since 2012, and the tournament has gone through some changes: it was an ATP 500 event combined with a WTA event, and now it’s an ATP 250 event without the WTA event. I do miss the ladies and love combined events, but Memphis has been able to create a more focused atmosphere...
