As the(10-25)Nets head into the All-Star break. The New Jersey Nets will be well represented in this weekend’s events in Orlando. Deron Williams will be coming off the bench for the Eastern Conference All-Star team. This will be D-Will’s third All-Star appearance. Sharpshooter Anthony Morrow will be participating in the 3-point Shooting Contest. Rookie shooting guard Marshon Brooks will play in the Rising Stars Challenge. The 2012 NBA ALL-Star Game will take place on Sunday evening. The 3-point Shooting Contest will take place on Saturday night. The Rising Stars Challenge will take place on Friday night. Congratulations and Good Luck to all of the Nets players taking part in the NBA All-Star Weekend events. In other Nets news….. The Nets have announced that construction on the Barclays Center in Brooklyn is on schedule and will be set to open on September 28th, 2012. However, the Brooklyn Nets won’t christen the new arena.
