Golden State Warriors forward Harrison Barnes dunked directly on Minnesota Timberwolves’ center Nikola Pekovic during a game on Saturday night, and it was amazing. The one-handed throw down looked as good as a Blake Griffin Dunk, but with a little more attitude. This easily slides in the top five of an early season dunk of the year candidate.

Golden State Warriors rookie forward Harrison Barnes had a spectacular one-handed slam dunk over Minnesota Timberwolves center Nikola Pecovic during the second quarter of Saturday night's NBA game at the Oracle Center.
Barnes had 10 points and 11 rebounds to help the Warriors defeat the Timberwolves 96-85.

Talk about a monster dunk! The Oracle Arena seems to be the home to many amazing dunks which create posters for all the little children to purchase and hang on their walls. Harrison Barnes puts his authority over Nikola Pekovic, who is no bench warmer to say the least. This dunk turns the Warriors bench and cheerleader's brains into mush as no one can comprehend what just happened.
Harrison Barnes was the 7th overall pick in the NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. Barnes could have been taken higher. Right now his play is showing he should have gone higher in the draft. Over the weekend Barnes had a monster dunk, one of the best so far in the first month of the NBA.
