The Golden State Warriors took care of business at home against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. The Spurs sat Tim Dunca, and Tony Parker, but that didn’t stop the Warriors from going hard. Harrison Barnes takes Aron Barnes to the woodshed with this big stuff! The Warriors cruised to the 116-106 win over the shorthanded Spurs and seem to be clicking on all cylinders just in time for the post season. Barnes finished the night with 11 points and 7 rebounds, but teammate, Steph Curry, stole the show with 35 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists on the night. The Warriors look good, and will need to keep playing at a high level into the playoffs. The west is tough, and loaded with extremely talented teams. The Warriors look good, but have a lot of young pieces without much post season experience. The post Harrison Barnes’ MONSTER dunk on Aron Baynes appeared first on Pass The Pill - Kings of Hoops.

Warriors Players Haze Rookie Festus Ezeli, Hides Car Tires (Photo)

Golden State Warriors rookie Festus Ezeli isn’t the first victim of hazing in the NBA or even on his team this season, Kent Bazemore has that distinction. The Warriors have an inordinate amount of rookies on the team this season with four, and Ezeli received his official rite of passage to the league when his teammates removed the tires from his car. Ezeli seemed to take it...

Steph Curry humiliates Gary Neal with moves

The San Antonio Spurs visited the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, just one day after losing a tough game to the Kobe-less Lakers on Sunday in Los Angeles, and the outcome of this game wouldn’t be much different. The Warriors took control over the Spurs, who sat Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Kawhi Leonard, with plays like this from their ace, Steph Curry. Curry had Neal in...

T-Mac is back: Tracy McGrady signs with Spurs

Tracy McGrady once scored 13 points in 30 seconds against the San Antonio Spurs. It was one of the most breath-taking and amazing scoring performances in NBA history. The fact that it happened against the vaunted Spurs defense on national TV made it all the more amazing. Things are perhaps coming full circle now. McGrady will try to get out of the first round for the first time...

Stephen Curry Within Two Shots of Breaking Ray Allen’s Single-Season 3-Point Record

OAKLAND, Calif. — Stephen Curry is two shots shy of setting a new NBA standard, and the question circulating around the Golden State Warriors locker room ahead of the season finale at Portland on Wednesday night is when — not if — he will break Ray Allen‘s single-season record of 269 3-pointers. “He should be done with that by the end of the first quarter,” guard Jarrett...

Aside from draining 7 3-pointers to bring himself within 2 3′s of breaking Ray Allen’s single season record, Stephen Curry once again proved he has one of the best handles in the NBA, absolutely toying with Gary Neal before draining the jumper during Monday’s 116-106 home win over the Spurs.

The San Antonio Spurs (58-22) will wrap up their two-game jaunt on the West Coast as they visit the Golden State Warriors (45-35) in Oakland. Karl, McCombs reminisce about HemisFair arena

If you got a chance to see the San Antonio Spurs play at HemisFair Arena, apparently it was quite the treat. I never did. I was eight when the Spurs played their last season there, and my family didn’t go to too many NBA games when I was growing up. But hearing stories of HemisFair makes me wish I could go back in time and see what it was like. Hearing about how the arena was ...

The matchup of the game in the last game of the season for the San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves will be between Manu Ginobili and Ricky Rubio.
