Steve Nash is easily one of the greatest players in the game. I feel good about saying that. The man can do things with a basketball that not many can; that's what makes him so much fun to watch on the court.
In his nearly 17 seasons in the NBA he has done a lot of things. He's played in close to 1200 games starting in more than 1000. He's got 3,000 free throws to his name (as of Tuesday night's game against the Thunder), over 17,000 career points, more than 10,000 assists--the stat line could go on and on.
However, of the 6,220 shots he has made during his NBA career has he ever dunked a basketball?

Kobe Bryant and the Lakers Make Epic Comeback
The Los Angeles Lakers are a flawed team. They must be to have the roster that they do and not be on top of the league rather than fighting for a playoff spot. However, if there is one thing that can be said about this flawed team it is this--you can never count these guys out.
Wednesday night the fans in New Orleans were happy thinking that there franchise was going to topple...
Howard says he could've sat out year until now
OKLAHOMA CITY Did Dwight Howard rush his way back into the Lakers' lineup?
He had back surgery last April, was traded to the Lakers in August and started his comeback by playing two exhibition games last November. He tried not to second-guess his decision Tuesday a few hours before his 55th regular-season game.
"Looking back on it, I could have sat out the whole season...
Phil Jackson and Dwight Howard are “texting buddies”
Jason Whitney Dwight Howard and Phil Jackson are texting buddies according to Dwight
Who would have thought Phil Jackson even knew what a text message was? Jackson, who was rumored to possibly make a comeback this season with the Lakers before upper management decided to go with Mike D’Antoni has been text messaging Lakers big man, Dwight Howard. According to Dwight, he has...
Josh Smith Thinks Dwight Howard Is ‘Loyal Athlete and Loyal Person,’ Believes Howard Will Re-Sign With Lakers
At least somebody still has a high opinion of Dwight Howard. His old buddy, Josh Smith, weighed in on Howard’s impending free agency, not only sharing his thoughts on his friend’s future but also offering a glimpse into the big fella’s soul.
In an eyebrow-raising interview with the Los Angeles Daily News over the weekend, Smith said “it would be a shock to me” if Howard...
Dwight Howard, Meet Foot In Mouth
I felt the need to chronicle all these crazy things Dwight Howard has said recently. He should quit basketball and become a politician with his consistent flip flopping. It took his sane teammates, who have things in the right perspective to come out and embarrass him in front of his peoples, if he has any left. Dwight started this off with comments that were down right wrong...
Lakers fake out Hornets on inbounds play, get key basket (Video)
The New Orleans Hornets blew a 25-point lead and lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 108-102 Wednesday. After committing supremely idiotic plays like this one, you can’t help but say they deserved to lose.
The Lakers faked out the Hornets on an inbounds play with 25.5 seconds left in the game by lining up on the side of the court they were defending, not the one they were attacking...
Kobe fools Hornets into easy dunk
Not sure what made the Hornets forget to guard Kobe Bryant, but with less than 30 seconds left in a two point ball game, Kobe squeezes through the New Orleans Hornet defenders for an easy dunk. Bryant scored 42-points in the L.A. Lakers 108-102 victory.
Lakers Can Count On Kobe Bryant For Playoff-Berth
Ronald Martinez/Getty Images
Looking at the Los Angeles Lakers’ recent success, Kobe Bryant seems to be a man of his word. After his “playoff-guarantee” a few weeks ago, Bryant has led the underachieving Lakers back to the .500 mark for the first time since Dec. 28 when they were 15-15.
Already having one his most efficient seasons of his career, Kobe has elevated his game...
What I Missed: Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant’s Givenchy Modal Airplane Scarf

At the 2013 NBA Celebrity All-Star game, Kobe wore a chic printed $595 Givenchy Cotton Modal Airplane Scarf. The vintage military design of this...
Video: Dwight Howard’s perfect block on Robin Lopez
In case you haven’t heard by now, the Los Angeles Lakers staged an incredible, emotional comeback against the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night. The Lakers trailed by as much as 25 points in the game, and finished the contest on a 20-0 run to pull of an improbable 108-102 road win. There were a ton of huge plays for the team on the night, but was bigger than Dwight Howard’s...
Lakers come back down to Earth
The Los Angeles Lakers have done a lot to regain some momentum over the past month. After their disappointing 17-25 start to the season, they went 13-5 to make it back to .500. They had people believing they were a playoff team, maybe even a team that could challenge for the Western Conference title.
However, the Oklahoma City Thunder brought the Lakers back down to earth last...
Dwight Howard says media took his comments about ex-Magic teammates wrong
Dwight Howard is the king of back pedaling. So it comes as no surprise to me that he’s now backing away from his comments regarding his former Orlando Magic teammates. During an interview this week, Dwight said that his Magic team was full of players nobody wanted. Following Wednesday night’s comeback win against the Pelicans (Hornets) – yes, I’m practicing saying this now...
Buford fine with keeping Lakers out of Sloan conference
The MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference has quickly become a favorite of stat geeks, scribes and executives in the sports industry.
The conference is in full swing up in Boston and several NBA owners and executives are either speaking or attending the event, including San Antonio Spurs GM R.C. Buford.
It didn't take long for those in attendance, including Buford to...
Raptors-Lakers Preview
A remarkable comeback in their latest contest showed how serious the Los Angeles Lakers appear to be about making a push for the playoffs.
Trying again to move above .500 for the first time since November, the Lakers hope to continue their home success over the Toronto Raptors on Friday night while trying for a season-high fifth straight victory at Staples Center.
Trailing by as...
