Dwyane Wade underwent arthroscopic knee surgery this summer after the Miami Heat won the 2011-2012 NBA Championship.  He has been working towards a return ever since.  Wade made that return yesterday in China.  The star guard played 23 minutes in his return to the court.Wade had missed the Heat's first preseason game, but he made it clear he wanted to return for the team's China trip.  According to Royce Young of CBS Sports, Wade is expected to be at 100% for the Heat's regular season opener.  This is the first step toward him getting there.Wade scored just five points on 2 of 9 shooting from the floor.  The Heat managed a win against the Los Angeles Clippers thanks in large part to LeBron James' 20 points.  Wade did not contribute much, but the team had to be happy just to have him on the court.  He missed about 25% of last season with an assortment of injuries.  The Heat and Wade hope he will be healthy for this season as Miami looks to defend their NBA Championship. Wade has averaged 25.2 points per game in his career.  Last season, despite the injuries, Wade still managed to average 22.1 points per game. Follow @hoopsinjurynews
