Miami Heat owner Micky Arison is not afraid to say what is on his mind and poke jabs at other teams and other owners. Last night he took a shot at Magic Johnson in a quite excellent job at trolling.
Magic has decided to make one of Arison’s player, LeBron James, his “cause”. He is using James unwillingness to participate in the dunk contest as a way of question James giving back to the fans. To that end, he has offered James $1 million to participate next year.
So Arison decided to have some fun with Magic on twitter. Early in the day, Magic took the twodel approach of “RT if you want to see LeBron in the dunk contest.” to which Arison replied…
@magicjohnson we will be happy to welcome them to @aaarena tix available at gohe.at/Avz99t

Then later that night, as Magic’s beloved Lakers were getting throttled by the Oklahoma City Thunder, allowing 71 points at the half, Magic tweeted out his disbelief.
Laker Nation: Really? Really?…The Thunder have 71pts at halftime! Really?

To which Arison had this quick and biting response. A truly masterful troll.
@magicjohnson maybe they should all enter the slam dunk contest.

Well played Mr. Arison, well played.
BEST OF MAXIM
LeBron James is an incredbile athlete. He has arguably the best skill set of any basketball player, ever. He has Magic Johnson’s court vision, with Michael Jordan’s athleticism, and Karl Malone’s body. There is nothing he cannot do on a basketball court. Fans know this, and they have been clamoring to see him participate in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest for his entire carer. After...
First of all, Magic Johnson isn’t stupid. The guy actually turned out to be a quality businessman. You don’t think he’ll get a serious return on this million somehow? Secondly, I’m tired of this story. I think Lebron is the best player in the world by far. I think he’s a cheesedick for not participating in the Dunk Contest. I don’t go to bed worrying about it. Newsflash...
JUST FOR KICKS
When you are Lebron James, you can pretty much do whatever you want. This includes getting shoes done in whatever you want it to be. Apparently, he commissioned Dan Gamache, one of the experts in customizing kicks, to use a Nike Lebron X as the canvas for working on an Ironman 3 colorway. And he just received it the other day in a specially crafted container. Interesting dovetailing...
Friday I pleaded to stop the madness and obsession over the made up controversy swirling around LeBron James and his dunking. No less than 24 hours later, Magic Johnson put up $1 million dollars on national television to try to entice LeBron James to participate in next year's dunk contest.
I kid you not. One. Million. Dollars. Here's the video evidence from...
That gasping sound you here, is Miami Heat fans holding their collective breath.
During the third quarter of the Heat’s 99-93 victory over the New York Knicks, James went up for an alley-oop dunk and came down awkwardly after being hit by a defender, he managed to finish the game after some initial discomfort, he’s worried but doesn’t expect to miss any time.
“I was concerned...
Looks like LeBron James wins the internet today. He sent this photo on his instagram and twitter accounts with this attached: New House Party movie coming soon! Sick of seeing the Harlem Shake?Well, we here at That NBA Lottery Pick still aren't and it appears that Miami Heat star LeBron James isn't either.Last Monday, LeBron got caught by cameras at the Target Center dancing during the pre-game lay-up line:
LeBron James scored 26 points, including a go-ahead layup with 3.2 seconds left, and the Miami Heat scrambled late to beat the Orlando Magic 97-96 on Wednesday night and extend their franchise-record winning streak to 16 games.
Dwyane Wade scored 24 points and Chris Bosh added 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat, who blew a 20-point, second-half lead and then rallied from a five...
Although considering partaking every year, Miami Heat superstar LeBron James is mulling Magic Johnson’s $1-million offer to compete in next winter’s NBA’s Slam Dunk Contest. “Tell him I’ll get back to him,” said James, 28, who Berkshire Hathaway Chairman Warren Buffett recently predicted would become the first athlete to top the billion-dollar mark since male ***** Tiger...
Michael Jordan has stepped up to clear his name regarding what he claims is faux-baby-mama-drama.
Last week Pamela Smith of Atlanta and her son came forth to claim that Jordan fathered the child while he was married to his ex-wife.
Smith went as far to file papers in Fulton County, GA.
She wants child support and all.
Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds posted a video on his You Tube...
There are a few things teams cannot do under any circumstances against the Heat.
You cannot turn the ball over and allow Miami to get out on the break. You cannot allow the Heat to get those highlight plays that energize the crowd at AmericanAirlines Arena and demoralize their opponents. You cannot allow Miami to take corner threes.
The Magic committed 18 turnovers, leading...
By: Miranda Martin Miranda@PredneckNation.com It’s hard not to talk about the Chicago Blackhawks right now. Literally everyone in the hockey world is talking about it. The streak surpassed the NBA and was the top story on ESPN’s SportsCenter… and talked about it for seven full minutes. Every NHL fan knows just how rare that is. Hell, LeBron James, whose NBA ...
