The Miami Heat may be the reigning NBA champions, but they've lost the last two meetings with the woeful Washington Wizards.
This time, Miami's Big Three will get a chance to make an impact.
LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh look to capitalize on the team with the league's worst record and extend the Heat's season-high winning streak to seven games Tuesday night.
Miami is 12-3 this season and has that same record in the past 15 games against Washington (1-13), taking seven of eight in the nation's capital. However, the Heat went 1-2 in last season's series, mostly due to scheduling.
Those defeats came during the final four games of the regular season, when Miami was afforded the luxury of resting its stars ahead of the playoffs.
Wade was the only member of the Big Three to face Washington on April 21, but he left after 2:40 with a dislocated left index finger as Miami went on to lose 86-84. The superstar guard joined James and Bosh as spectators f...
BEST OF MAXIM
Miami Heat superstar LeBron Names has been named the 2012 Sportsman of the Year by Sports Illustrated.
IT'S A CELEBRATION
Tuesday night we were all looking forward to the jokes that would be made at the expense of the Washington Wizards once again as they hosted the Miami Heat. Naturally, the Wizards beat the Heat 105-101 for just their second win of the season. That shock victory led CSN Washington sports anchor Michael Jenkins to mock LeBron James and the Heat on SportsNet Central with child-like...
Earlier today, we featured a clip of Miami Heat star LeBron James not reciprocating a high-five from a fan. Regular season MVP, NBA Championship, Finals MVP, Gold Medal…LeBron James was named Sports Illustrated’s 2012 Sportsman of the Year. ”I’m very appreciative of it, and my family is very excited about it, I’m happy that I’m able to represent my family and my kids and everyone in the Heat organization in the highest standard” said James after practice.

Somehow I missed this last week, but given LeBron James won SI's Sportsman of the Year award earlier today, it was worth sharing. This video from Grantland features a 15 minute compilation of several PTI discussions about LeBron James between Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser over the years. The video goes all the way back to LeBron James driving a Hummer in high school...
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Washington Wizards can't beat many teams, but they beat the best: LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
Perhaps inspired by the courtside presence of Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, the Wizards doubled their victory total this season with a 105-101 win over the Heat on Tuesday night, despite James' triple-double of 26 points, 13 rebounds...
Recently, Nike has produced an abundance of running shoes that feature bright, flamboyant colorways. For instance, Nike made all of their sponsored athletes wear Volt colored track spikes during the 2012 Summer Olympics. This captured the attention of everyone watching the Olympics and was often the only way to tell the difference between athletes. Well now Nike taking the...
The Washington Wizards are averaging about a win a month this season. After Tuesday’s win against the Heat, they’re a robust 2-13. But hey, when the team you cover beats the reigning NBA champs, you can make yourself look foolish on the air. The 105-101 victory mad CSN Washington sports anchor Michael Jenkins to look like a kid on the first day of summer vacation. You’ll...
