Anthony Davis' ailing ankle may keep him out longer than expected.  The rookie center for the New Orleans Hornets suffered a stress reaction in his left ankle about a week ago.  He has been sidelined since.  Now, according to a report by Jimmy Smith of the New Orleans Times-Picaynne, Davis could be out two more weeks.New Orleans is being cautious with the injury, because exacerbation could cause the ankle to fracture.  The team wants to protect their number one overall selection for the long-term, so keeping him out an additional two weeks is probably the safe bet. So far this season, Davis has averaged 16.0 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game.  However, in addition to this injury, Davis also suffered a concussion early in the year that kept him out of a couple games.  These injuries so early in his career are worrisome, but they are likely more fluke than anything else. The Hornets are reliant on young talent like Davis.  They lost Chris Paul two seasons ago and are trying to rebuild.  They struggled last season, and they are struggling this season.  But it takes time to rebuild.  Time and healthy players. Matt Barnes delivers elbow to Jason Smith

The Clippers brought in Matt Barnes to give the team a little extra toughness on both ends of the floor. He plays with an edge in a way that not many players do. His pure intensity can motivate the rest of his team, and I’m sure a lot of guys like to play with Barnes on their side. That being said, he can cross the line a little bit sometimes between edgy and dirty. This shot below...
