Despite having a team destined for the playoffs, a stable of young players and after numerous signings last year, do not expect the Houston Rockets to be quiet during free agency this summer. Despite giving a max contract to James Harden and large contracts to Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin, the Rockets still have a lot of cap room this summer, in fact they enough for another max contract and they should not be shy and should look for the missing piece that could place them in the upper echelon of the Western Conference. Morey has been the best GM in the NBA this year and the Rockets should continue to let him ride out his hot streak and sign one of the big fishes in free agency, Josh Smith. They can offer Smith as much as any team in the NBA and he would be perfect for their system. The Rockets are a run and gun team and the highest scoring team in the NBA and adding a player of Smith’s talents would make them even better. He is dynamic at the fast break, is a versatile talent on offense...
