Houston Rockets Officially Sign Former 1st-Round Pick

Aaron Holiday is coming off a season where he averaged 3.9 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest while shooting 41.8% from the field and 40.9% from the three-point range in 63 games for the Atlanta Hawks.

This summer, the former UCLA star became a free agent, and (on Monday) he officially signed with the Houston Rockets.

In addition to the Hawks, Holiday has also spent time with the Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers.

He was initially the 23rd pick in the 2018 NBA Draft out of UCLA and is entering his sixth season in the league.

Holiday has career averages of 6.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 41.3% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range in 308 regular season games (he has also appeared in 14 NBA playoff games).
