Thought it was time to check in and see how Jon Scheyer is performing in Israel. As we noted a little while back, the emergence of Jordan Farmar certainly hurt his hype and playing time. Now that Farmar is back in New Jersey, Scheyer has gotten more playing time but not putting up Duke type numbers.
Scheyer has appeared in 10 of the 11 Maccabi Tel Aviv games. He is averaging 2.2 points per game along with .7 rebounds and .7 assists. Not crazy good, but he it'll be a learning curve to play Euro style ball and get back into form.
