Landry Fields has a lot of reasons to smile.  Well actually, one reason to smile - his paycheck. The Toronto Raptors picked up Fields this off season with a 3-year $20 million dollar contract.  While Knicks fans laughed at this offer, which is kind of ironic coming from a franchise whose history of bad contracts is second to none, the Raptors thought they were getting a steal.  I can't call this contract awful 4 games into the season, however, Landry has not been playing well, including missing lay ups. Maybe Landry should reach out to Jeremy Lin to sleep on his couch to get a little magic touch.  He clearly is having many mental errors.  Professional players do not cut to the lane for an easy bunny and brain fart themselves into a youtube highlight. More after the jump. Just to be fair, this might not be a new trend.  Let's go back to Fields Knicks days to see what other Bozo type plays we can find throughout his career.  This should be fun! ...

Landry Fields botches easy layup

The Toronto Raptors agreed to pay former Knicks small forward Landry Fields $20 million over three years during the off-season. Do they wish they could take the deal back? They’d probably answer ‘yes’ at this point. Through four games, Fields is averaging a measly 2.5 points a game in 22 minutes of action. At the same time, Fields is missing easy layups like this one against...

Amir Johnson has face put on the inside of his jacket (photo)

Remember a few weeks back when Amir Johnson, of the Toronto Raptors, wore his custom shoes with his face on them? Well, now the player has his face on the inside of his jacket because if you lose your jacket, you would want it returned, right? I imagine Johnson would be doing the Gangnam Stayle [...]The post Amir Johnson has face put on the inside of his jacket (photo) appeared first...

The seventh-year guard is averaging 18.3 points and...

Raptors’ Landry Fields and Kyle Lowry Questionable against Sixers

AP Photo Tonight the Raptors will host the Philadelphia 76ers at the Air Canada Centre, and two of their headline players may be sidelined. Kyle Lowry, who suffered a sprained ankle in a loss to Oklahoma City, is a game-time decision. Lowry did not participate in practice on Friday, which is typically a clear indicator that he’ll miss Saturday’s game, but head Coach Dwayne Casey...

Vinsanity open to returning to Toronto

Vince Carter was probably a little nostalgic when his former team came to Dallas last night. The Toronto Raptors were Carter’s first team and arguably the best years of his career. He dug the expansion team out of the cellar, led them to their first playoff appearance and first series win and even scored the first points in the Air Canada Centre.  He has a lot of fond memories...

Vince Carter Opens the Possibility of Returning to Toronto

(Photo by Fernando Medina/NBAE via Getty Images) Although it may be an issue tucked away deep in the closets of many Raptors fans, ask any fan about Vince Carter and prepare to face the music. Pure venom comes spewing their mouths and only the bad memories remain. Vince Carter leaving for the Nets is on the same playing field as LeBron’s Decision in most parts of Ontario. Carter...

Mavs dump Raptors for third win in a row

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks' streak of shooting at least 60 percent ended at two games, but they did extend their winning streak to three in a row, dumping the Toronto Raptors 109-104 Wednesday at the American Airlines Center. The Raptors trailed by double digits for most of the game but came back with a late charge, getting to within five points twice in the final minute...
