Mascotophobia: Similar to Furryophobia, it’s a crippling condition, 1,000s suffer with it daily. But perhaps video of mascotophobic Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard experiencing the traumatic experience of being confronted by Bango, the beloved mascot (for some) of the Milwaukee Bucks will put a famous face to the condition and help raise awareness to this troublesome phobia.
Prior to the Lakers-Bucks tilt at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in the town that is pronounced “Mill-e-wah-que” which is Algonquin means “the good land” and is also the home of both Laverne & Shirley and their Bucks counterparts, Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings, Dwight Howard was minding his own business when Bango accosted him, scaring the bejeezus out of Howard. Bango unchained, indeed.
Suffice to say, Howard was shocked, shaken but no reports on whether or not he was stirred.

Before the Lakers-Bucks game Thursday at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, Bango stood still and waited for Howard to pass by. And let’s just say that he got him. Hopefully Howard brought another pair of underoos for the game. He tallied 15 points and 15 boards...

(spoiler alert: Side with the deer.)What you’re about to witness is the epic confrontation between Dwight Howard and “Bango,” the inflatable equivalent of the Milwaukee Bucks mascot, filled by a man who is willing to stand in the hallway of the BMO Harris Bradley Center and pretend to be an immobile roadside balloon statue (or whatever) until Dwight Howard walks by. If you...
We here at That NBA Lottery Pick love a good scare or two and last night, Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard got scared by the inflatable version of the Milwaukee Bucks mascot "Bango The Deer".As Howard and the rest of the Lakers were entering Bradley Center, the inflatable version of Bango was hanging out pretending to be a statue which gave him the perfect opportunity...
The NBA has retroactively given David Lee a flagrant 1 foul for hitting Dwight Howard in the face earlier this week.
This season has been tough.
The losing sucks and the thought of having the worst record in the league sucks even more. Alex Martins gave us the familiar line after the season ended last May and after the Dwight Howard trade -- the Magic have made the Playoffs 14 times in their 23 year history (now 24 years, I guess since it is official that the Magic will not be going to the...
