While Jackson’s best individual seasons may have come in New York with the Knicks, he is no doubt the best point guard in the history of the Pacers’ franchise, leading them to their only NBA Finals appearance and is third in franchise (and NBA) history in assists. The biggest reason he is on this list is his leadership during his time in Indiana. Before he came to the franchise, even though Reggie Miller was already there, along with Rik Smits and other important players in their history, he was the catalyst in getting them deeper into the players and toward that Eastern Conference Championship and Finals appearance.
