Since the offseason, the Indiana Pacers have been in pursuit of added scoring and depth in the backcourt. With the acquisition of veteran guard Leandro Barbosa, Indiana finally found what it was searching for.
It took the Brazilian combo guard little time to adjust to the change of scenery after being traded from Toronto last Thursday. In his Pacers debut, Barbosa scored 12 points on 50 percent shooting as Indiana knocked off the Clippers 102-89 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Tuesday.
“Leandro Barbosa came in and really changed the dynamic of our bench,” Indiana head coach Frank Vogel said following the win. “Our bench took over the game in the second quarter and it did the same thing in the second half.”

The Indiana Pacers Tyler Hansbrough has gotten a reputation as an Oscar-worthy actor when it comes to complaining about rough treatment in the NBA.
Last night— against the Los Angeles Clippers— he gave another intense performance which was mockingly caught on the imaginary camera of opponent Caron Butler.

The Pacers effectively kept the ball away from the Wizards in...
WASHINGTON, March 22—There is no way that the Pacers should have won this game. Coming out of the gate Washington was all over them. They were so all over them that they were up by 20 at the half.

Last night the Clippers had to have been waiting for Chris Paul to kick into high gear as he only salvaged 16 points from his repertoire.
Blake Griffin was on point as usual racking a double-double to provide 23 points and 10 rebounds.
The Clippers are inconsistent...
