ESPN basketball analyst Jalen Rose was in Bloomington on Saturday for College Gameday, implanted on site at Assembly Hall during #3 Indiana's 81-73 victory over #1 Michigan. After the game (which began at 9 PM) concluded, Rose found his way to a house party, where he stayed until 5 AM. Among the highlights of Rose's appearances at the party (according to a now-deleted thread on Reddit) are... Saying Michael Jordan was hungover and didn't have the flu during the 1997 NBA Finals He was sure it was Reggie Miller's ex-wife that burned down his house in 1997. Said he couldn't smoke weed because he worked for Disney. Claimed he could hit 17 of 20 threes on the spot. On Jamaal Tinsley: ‘The dude drank vodka more often than water…AND I let him live with me! For a MONTH!’ ” Oh dear. Rose didn't exactly deny the happenings during an interview with MLive.com. "I'm a huge Michael Jordan fan, got a lot of respect for him," Rose said. "I've got a lot of respect for Reggie Miller. "Those were comments that I guess somebody was attributing that I said. Those weren't quotes. I saw a couple of curse words on there that I haven't cursed since 2002." Asked again if he denied saying any of those comments, Rose was again rather vague. "I'm saying they weren't quotes," he said." Who knows where this is going to end up? In the pictures posted by Lost Lettermen, Rose isn't exactly doing anything illegal or immoral. It's not as if he's trampling all over a character clause in his contract. I highly doubt he'll get disciplined by ESPN. Maybe just a stern talking to by someone at Bristol, and that will be that. It does make you really wonder about Jordan's flu game though... [Lost Lettermen]
