Pass The Pill:
Jamal Crawford is known around the league as a pure scorer. He’s also kind of a chucker, but nobody has any doubts that he can shoot from anywhere, and make shots from anywhere.
The Clippers added him this offseason based on this reputation, and it’s the reason he’s been a good player in the league for so long. I mean, we all know it’s not his defense that makes him an asset.
Well, apparently he has a lot of natural talent. Like, a lot. Because it’s not the work he puts in during the offseason.Via Slam Online:
After 12 NBA seasons and with a firm reputation as a pure shooter, Clippers guard Jamal Crawford tried something during the off-season he had never done before. He practiced shooting. It’s astonishing to think that Crawford, who is the NBA’s career leader with 34 four-point plays and ranks 21st all-time with 1,387 three-pointers, didn’t routinely spend his summers in stuffy gyms trying to perfect his shot. ‘I’ve never actually been drilled before. Seriously.
Well, that’s interesting. An NBA player, let alone a shooting guard, has never worked on his shot during the offseason. We hear of all these NBA players who work so hard on perfecting their shot, such as Ray Allen. And then there’s Jamal Crawford, who clearly just has some serious talent.
It’s scary to think how much better of a player he might be this season. The Clippers are hoping his work can take him to to the next level.

In a preseason matchup between the Jazz and the Clippers, there was one of the best dunks of the young NBA season, and no, it wasn’t from Blake Griffin.
