PLAYERS: Jameer Nelson
TEAMS: Orlando Magic
No offense to E'Twaun Moore. Moore has played extremely well in his four starts this season and has been able to pace the Magic with 14.6 points and 4.0 assists per game. Things with the Magic though are not the same without Jameer Nelson. Nelson strained his groin and hamstring in the season-opening win over Denver. Orlando has not seen Nelson since. While his modest nine points and seven assists do not say much, there is no doubt that Nelson's leadership and playmaking are something the Magic desperately need on the floor. Jameer Nelson remains questionable and it does not appear he will play Sunday against the Nets: Twitter / JoshuaBRobbins: Jameer Nelson is listed as ... via kwout Again, Moore has been good, but he is still learning the point guard position and does not quite have the stabilizing and calming effect of the Magic's team captain. The last two games, Orlando has struggled to get much going offensively. Part of that is becau...

Magic still empty against Nets

Orlando was very much in a race against Brooklyn. Time was not on its side after digging a 22-point deficit in the first quarter and looking like a Friday repeat was on the way. Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries and Reggie Evans dominated the offensive glass, getting the Nets plenty of extra possessions to build the lead. The Magic were not going to lay down again. They were not going...

107-68 says it all

Nets 107, Magic 68. Sometimes a final score just says it all. Yes, every team has nights where the shots will not fall or the ball does not bounce the right way. A lot of that happened for sure in Orlando's loss to Brooklyn on Friday night at Amway Center. But it was much more than that.
