MIAMI (AP) -- LeBron James sat out Saturday night against Washington for the Miami Heat, only the second game he has missed this season. With the playoffs starting next week, Chris Bosh was held out for the third game in a row. Dwyane Wade, who has missed 14 games, was in the starting lineup. "We want to make sure we are healthy going into the second season," coach Erik Spoelstra said. James is treating some minor bumps and bruises but feeling fine, Spoelstra said. He had led the Heat in scoring each of the past 12 games. Bosh has been dealing with minor ailments, and the Heat hope to have him back before the end of the regular season Thursday, Spoelstra said. Center Ronny Turiaf sat out with a sore hamstring. The Heat went into Saturday's game chasing Chicago for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Nike LeBron 9 Low ‘Liverpool’ Shoe

With LeBron James being a minority share owner of Liverpool FC, it only be fitting Nike release a limited edition sneaker featuring the English Premier League team. This shoe embraces everything about the football club. From the red and mint color scheme to the Liverbird adorning the back heel. But IMO the coolest thing about these are the 18 cup graphics on the outsole of the kicks...

LeBron James will never be on Kobe’s level

“Come on man, you’ve got to be kidding me!’, said Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers as he watched LeBron James pass on the opportunity to attempt a three-point basket at in the final seconds of the 2012 NBA All-Star game. In fact, it happened twice as it was LeBron who took the ball out for the East in the final seconds after hitting 6-8 three-point baskets during the game...

LeBron drops John Lucas with textbook pick

This pick came late in the 3rd quarter of Thursday night’s Heat/Bulls showdown in Miami. The heat won this game 83-72 on their home-court. LeBron’s screen looks perfectly acceptable to me, but Bulls backup point guard, John Lucas looked less that thrilled. He approached LeBron after the play was whistled dead and had to be restrained by Chicago forward, CarlosBoozer. I do...

MIAMI (AP) -- LeBron James had 32 points and eight rebounds, Norris Cole added 16 points and the Miami Heat pulled away in the final minutes to beat Houston 97-88 on Sunday night and eliminate the Rockets from postseason contention. Could the Miami Heat trade Bosh for Dwight Howard?

The Miami Heat are built to win now and as LeBron James and Dwyane Wade grow older their time to win those seven championships begins to fade away. Chris Bosh may be the weakest link of the trio of stars for the Heat. In fact, he is so much of a weak link, that he will

Shorthanded Heat fall to lowly Wizards 86-84

The Miami Heat were without LeBron James, Chris Bosh and then lost Dwyane Wade minutes into their home game against the Washington Wizards en route to a 86-84 loss that all but guarantees their #2 spot in the playoffs. Mike Miller and Mario Chalmers scored 16 points apiece and Dexter Pittman had some decent moments in the paint that were good for a dozen points. Wade's finger...

LeBron James had 27 points and 11 rebounds, Dwyane Wade scored 18 points and Miami tightened up the race in the...
