BEST OF MAXIM
HOUSTON James Harden had the audacity to act normal Wednesday night. He just came out of the shower, got dressed, gave his beard a good once over with his palm and acted like he wasn't walking away from a building he just burned to the ground.
"That's how I play," he said after Houston's 122-119 win over Oklahoma City. "If you watch, all 50 games that...
HONORING AN ALUM
Same night as he scores 46 for Rockets
The Houston Rockets ended up beating the Oklahoma City Thunder by 3 points. James Harden finished with 46 points on 14-of-19 shooting and this half court ‘shot’ to end the third quarter. It was a half-court shot as Harden pulled up and squared to the basket. Cold blooded shot and game against his former team.

The Houston Rockets may be finding that out the hard way.
At 30-26, the Rockets looked pretty good with the trade deadline approaching — until a Wednesday night, six-player deal dismantled a good chunk of the squad that...

Tweet Granted Jeremy Lin hasn’t been in the NBA a long time, just 120 games, but at some point during his 3,064 minutes played you’d think he would have gotten angry enough at a non-call or done something to warrant a technical foul, right? Wrong. During the Houston Rockets’ 122-119 victory over the Oklahoma [...]

Sometimes things don’t happen exactly like you expect, especially in the NBA.
1. Nets can’t beat good teams. (Four straight wins over teams at or above .500)
2. Pacers are a poor offensive team. (Drop 125 on New York Knicks)
3. Warriors are one of the more dangerous teams in the West. (Six straight blowout losses)
4. On the Rockets instead of the Thunder, James Harden will struggle...
