James Harden is this years sixth man of the year.  Mark my words.  I'm a huge fan of the Thunder and are loving their chances to make it to the finals this year.  They are young and didn't get stupid during the off-season and trade away any big assets.  They beat the defending champ Mavericks last night 87-83.  The Mavericks are somewhat of a new look team, and the Lakers are looking down without acquiring any big free agents.  Perfect opportunity for Durant and the Thunder to do big things.  Check out this reverse dunk video below from this years pre-season favorite for the sixth man award. (my rank)  He added a team high 13 points. Like this post? Check out our Home Page for more stories and follow us on Twitter

Thunder set for Western Conference run

The plane landed from a gray sky into a gray land. Rain, shadow, cold concrete and dreary farmland -- this was Oklahoma City as the start of the NBA season inched closer. Still, just a short drive from the airport, through all the melancholy an Oklahoma winter can throw at a man, one of the game's best players practiced himself into a fine sweat with a group of teammates capable...

2011-12 Oklahoma City Thunder Preview

The Thunder have reached the playoffs in each of the past two seasons, posting no less than 50 wins during the regular-season schedule over that time, and captured the Northwest Division title with a 55-27 ledger. It appears they are the frontrunners to repeat as division champions, but the rest of the Northwest has improved and could give OKC trouble down the stretch. Durant is...

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- The Bobcats have acquired center Byron Mullens from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for a 2013 second-round draft pick. The 7-foot Mullens was selected by the Mavericks with the 24th pick in the 2009 draft but promptly sent to the Thunder.
