Jason Kidd's coming back to Dallas

Mark Cuban confirmed that Jason Kidd has agreed to re-sign with the Mavs. It's a three-year deal worth $25 million and change. Maybe the Mavs are overpaying a bit, but they had to bring Kidd back. If not, the Devin Harris deal would have been a total disaster with the Nets receiving a lottery pick next year. With Kidd here, even at his advanced age, the Mavs ought to be a playoff team again. Of course, Cuban isn't satisfied with just making the playoffs. He says this is "hopefully the first of several deals to come in the next couple weeks."
