Jason Kidd is serious in his pursuit to become the new head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, according to Yahoo! Sports. Kidd, who retired from the NBA one week ago, led the Nets to two NBA Finals appearances during his tenure in New Jersey. A meeting is scheduled for early this week between Kidd and Brooklyn Nets general manager Billy King to discuss this topic. Kidd, 40, has no previous coaching experience on any level.
