Jason Terry Auctioning Off Championship Ring For Charity

It took 12 years for Jason Terry to win a NBA championship ring, but it’ll only cost you $10 to take it off his hands. The Jet is raffling off his 2011 championship ring to one lucky fan to raise money for his foundation.

Star-Telegram has the details:

Terry said all proceeds from the raffle will go to his foundation and will be used to help his youth girls’ basketball team – the Lady Jets – travel later this year to China.

“Everybody can get in,” Terry said. “Some lucky person is going to win it.

“I’ll let it run for a month and see what happens.”

Kudos to Terry for doing something nice for others. Someone will get a real NBA championship ring while a group of girls will experience a once in a lifetime trip to China.
