PLAYERS: C.J. Watson
TEAMS: Brooklyn Nets
Nothing is too expensive for little Blue Ivy Carter — the daughter of Jay-Z and Beyonce — even when her father has to watch his Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center. Us Weekly reports the music power couple rents a "luxurious basement suite for $1 million a year" as the little tyke's nursery.  You might literally call it the most lavish crib in the city. The nursery has "an area for Blue filled with toys" but her famous dad, and Nets minority owner, hasn't forgotten playtime for the grownups either. The most expensive VIP area in the arena also features a champagne bar and TV screen for the adults. "Jay lets his friends use his digs when he's not there," a source told the magazine. The couple spends a lot of time in the arena even when the Nets aren't playing.  Jay-Z just rang in the New Year with a concert featuring his good friend Chris Martin and his band Cold Play and he opened the joint with eight shows back in October. If you can't sit courtside, the fancy playpen — which costs more than Nets guard C.J. Watson — sounds like the place to be.

Thunder fan regrets touching Kris Humphries

Kris Humphries of the Brooklyn Nets has been the ire of a ridiculous number of jokes following his short lived “relationship” with Kim Kardashian. It seems that one female Thunder fan thought that maybe she would check out what Kim thought was so great about Kris Humphries, and reached out to touch him as he left the court. She immediately regretted the decision and was as...

Thunder Fan Freaks Out After Touching Kris Humphries

As Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries left the court in Oklahoma City to deal with an injury late in the 4th quarter, he shook hands with some of the fans in the stands and one lady completely freaked out.  I’m assuming the Thunder fan JUST realized that a basketball player at the end of the game is pretty gross and sweaty or maybe she is a Kayne West fan. One thing is for sure...

Trevor Booker on Andray Blatche’s Return To WAS: “I Hope He Makes It Out Alive”

The Wizards will have another sort of reunion [Friday] when Andray Blatche returns to the place that he called home for the first seven seasons of his career before he was waived using the amnesty provision last July. Since joining Brooklyn, Blatche certainly hasn’t endeared himself to fans in Washington as he has poked fun at his former team for its lousy start on Twitter and...

Video: MarShon Brooks splits double team with behind-the-back dribble

Tweet   As a rookie last season MarShon Brooks showed why he was among the better scorers in college basketball as a senior and gave the Nets a glimpse of what they could expect for years to come. With the Nets revamping the roster during the offseason (including the addition of six-time All-Star Joe Johnson) [...]

In The Scrum With Joe Johnson

This was Johnson’s second double overtime game winning shot of the season.     sr_adspace_id = 1000001551307; sr_adspace_width = 728; [...]

Thunder Fan Grossed Out After Touching Kris Humphries (Video)

So most people hate Kris Humphries now right??  I know I do.  The big question is why is this lady Thunder's fan touching him on his arm on his way to the locker room?  And how does she not realize he's going to be sweating like a race horse after playing a full game of basketball?  These fans should be flicking him off if anything.  He's on the opposing team that...

Nets 113, Kings 93

Brook Lopez scored 18 points in 17 minutes to lead six players in double figures, and the Brooklyn Nets got a nice effort from their reserves in beating the Sacramento Kings 113-93 on Saturday night for their third straight victory. One night after needing two overtimes to escape with a 115-113 victory in Washington, the Nets made sure the starters weren't too taxed. Deron Williams...

Female fan touches Kris Humphries, gets grossed out

Fans love to get up close and personal with sports stars but when one woman actually got to make physical contact with Kris Humphries, the Oklahoma City Thunder fan seemed to get a little grossed out by doing so. The Brooklyn Nets forward was making his way to the locker room — after turning his ankle in the final minutes of the Nets 110-93 victory over the Thunder at Chesapeake...

Bench sparks Nets to rout of Kings

NEW YORK -- The Brooklyn Nets weren't too worn out from their double-overtime game the previous night to again extend a warm welcome to interim coach P.J. Carlesimo. The Nets dominated the surging Sacramento Kings for most of the game along the way to a 113-93 win Saturday night at the Barclays Center, helped largely by their bench, which contributed 50 points. The starters...

Kris Humphries presumed father of Kim and Kanye’s baby

According to California law, since Kim Kardashian is still technically still married to NBA player Kris Humphries, he is the presumed father of Kim and her boyfriend Kanye West. If the Hump wanted stir the pot some more, he could force Kimmy and Kanye to come to court and prove the [...]

Phil Jackson Got Engaged

Now we know why Phil Jackson didn't get hired by the Lakers and doesn't want to come back and coach the Brooklyn Nets.  He needed some time to himself to get engaged to long time girlfriend Jeanie Buss.  I'm guessing the honeymoon isn't going to be very cheap either, so maybe Phil will make his return to the NBA next season. Check out our Home Page for...

- Wizards vs. Nets: Joe Johnson Gets the Last Buzzer-Beating Laugh

Kings-Nets Preview

Brook Lopez is the highest scoring center in the NBA, but DeMarcus Cousins isn't far behind. Although Cousins got the better of the most recent matchup, it was Lopez and the Brooklyn Nets that emerged with the win. The centers will be matched up for the final time this season as the Nets and Sacramento Kings attempt to continue their respective surges Saturday night at Barclays...
