Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin wanted fight and he got it.
Utah just couldn’t deliver a tough victory.
Despite clawing back from an 11-point third-quarter deficit, the Jazz fell 94-91 to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night at EnergySolutions Arena before a sellout crowd of 19,911.
Al Jefferson scored 22 points to lead the Jazz (9-5), who saw a three-game winning streak end.
Shawn Marion’s 22 points topped the Mavericks (9-7).
